We strive to ensure customer satisfaction. Because many of our products are security-related and may be specially configured, the following return policy applies to all purchases.
1. Return Authorization
All returns must receive prior authorization before being sent back.
To request a return, please contact admin@securityhouselock.com with:
- Order number
- Item(s) being returned
- Reason for return
Once reviewed, we will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and provide return instructions if the request is approved.
RGA Requirement: The RGA number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. Returns received without an RGA number may be refused or delayed.
Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.
2. Return Eligibility
- Return requests must be made within 10 days of receipt.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- Products must be in resellable condition and include all original components such as keys.
The following items cannot be returned:
- Special-order items
- Custom keyed products (keyed alike, keyed different, or master keyed)
- Clearance or discontinued items
- Used or installed products
- Products missing components such as keys
3. Errors, Damages, or Shortages
Any errors, damages, or shortages must be reported within 10 days of receiving the order.
Please provide photos and order details so we can resolve the issue quickly.
4. Restocking Fees
Returns due to purchasing errors are subject to the following restocking charges:
- 15% restocking fee for stocked merchandise
- 20% restocking fee for non-stocked merchandise
Items returned in damaged or incomplete condition may be subject to additional charges or refusal.
5. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:
- Incorrect product shipped
- Damaged product received
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
6. Refund Processing
Once returned items are received and inspected:
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
7. Refused Shipments
If a shipment is refused or returned due to failed delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for original shipping charges, return shipping costs, and applicable restocking fees.
8. Policy Updates
Security House reserves the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
